My Baby Turns 10

I can't believe my first-born turned 10 this week. We took him on a date last night, our birthday tradition, and I felt like I was out with my best friend. He is really growing up and is funny, smart, and I must say, a really cool kid. Before he was born, we thought he was a girl. Immediately after he was born, we thought he was from the hispanic mail-main. A couple of years later, we were convinced he was going to be a sociopath. The pattern has continued each year worrying about what he will grow up to become. I am however, becoming more and more confident, that despite my parenting, this kid is going to grow up to be an amazing person! He is kind, hard-working, compassionate,

and smart. However, he does have a very unbalanced obsession with sports! I am hoping that this will keep him tired and busy enought to stay out of trouble for a couple of years. He is pictured here in his only requests for birthday presents, a John Beck Jersey and Miami Dolphins hat. The man at the Fanzz store also talked me into a few other sports related items, only after I got his life history and fertility history with his wife!
